Good Monday morning! The week gets off to a quiet start, with cloudy and cold days Monday and Tuesday. A storm system brings snow to central Illinois late Tuesday night (after Midnight) with snow lasting through the day on Wednesday. Snow may be heavy at times, but it will also battle some warm air meaning some snow will melt as it falls - making snow accumulation forecasts a bit tricky. For now, I’m expected between 2” to 4” of accumulation across Champaign County by Wednesday night. Good news is this snow doesn’t come with dangerously high winds and sub-zero temperatures!
