TGIF! It’s FOGGY out there this morning. Dense fog should break mid-morning leaving us to a mostly cloudy and quiet day. A winter storm will miss us with most its snow to the west and south today, but I still expect a little light snow mostly overnight tonight. The first flakes should fall across east-central Illinois near or shortly after sunset this evening, tapering off around sunrise Saturday morning. Expect total accumulation of around one inch or less. Snow increases as you head west into western Illinois/Missouri.
Other than tonight’s light snow, expect a quiet weekend.
